Megan Fox’s latest manicure was inspired by penis piercings
Celebrities love unique nail trends, it’s true. When you’re an A-lister with an iconic nail artist on speed dial and the freedom to switch your look up far more frequently than those of us waiting on our monthly appointment, why not go all out?
Megan Fox is certainly someone who makes statements with her beauty moments - she even once bravely revived the 'shatter' manicure (a nail trend we'd rather leave in the past). Her latest look, however, may be her boldest yet. And we're kind of obsessed?
Now at first glance, Fox’s manicure merely consists of a candy pink to fuchsia polish gradient, and a few silver stud embellishments. But according to the Hollywood manicurist who crafted them, @nails_of_la, AKA Brittany Boyce, there was a far more suggestive meaning behind where the studs were applied.
In a conversation with Allure, Boyce revealed that the studs were specifically placed on Fox’s nails for a “Prince Albert” look, AKA a type of genital piercing. Yep. Frankly, we’re fascinated.

“I wanted to give her something new without going overboard. It’s the perfect mix of cute and cool,” Boyce told Allure. “We switched her usual almond shape to a medium coffin just to change up the vibe a bit. The two-tone pink aura keeps it soft, and the double chrome studs give it that Prince Albert edge."
As for the specific nails below the piercings, Boyce shared that she used “Aprés Gel-X Sculpted Coffin Medium Tips” ($55.87 at Amazon) before “the studs were sealed in with Orly Builder in a Bottle” ($44.03 at Amazon).”

Fox sure knows her way around championing a beauty trend, so it’s only a matter of time until the ‘Prince Albert’ manicure is a regular on the options list. Until then, though, please report back on how it goes explaining this one to your nail tech…
