The celebrity approved bridal hair trends to try in 2025
When celebrities get engaged and start flaunting the rocks on their ring finger, we start to get really excited because we know that their engagement manicures are just the beginning of an extensive bridal beauty parade that we can draw inspiration from.
From Sofia Richie Grainge's iconic wedding day makeup to the skin care they're using six months out from their big day, celebrities offer us a glimpse at what's possible when you have an unlimited budget and access to the best hair and makeup artists in the business.
But we're not the only ones keeping an eye on A-listers — bridal hair stylist's like Hannah Raye Adams are doing the exact same thing. In fact, according to Raye Adams, it's an easy way to distinguish and get ahead of the year's leading bridal hair trends.
"My favourite celebrity bridal looks are maybe a hot take, but I loved Millie Bobby Brown, Demi Lovato and Joey King's wedding looks," she tells BEAUTYcrew, saying that their wedding day glam has definitely influenced some of 2025's biggest bridal looks, but no two brides ever really look the same.
"Hair is so fun because each look can be personalised to the bride's unique style, whether it’s a statement veil or hairpiece, asking to leave pieces out in a bun, no hairstyle or bridal look is ever the same," she explains.

The Modern Bride: A Sleek High Bun
"The bun could be super sleek and simple, or very textured with tons of twists and movement. I love these styles because they’re so flattering on everyone," Raye Adams explains.
If you want to emulate Hailee Steinfeld's sleek wedding day hair, she recommends asking your hairstylist to tease your hair at the crown, so it doesn't look flat. Smooth all the flyaways and baby hairs down with Unite U Argan Oil ($55.89 from Oz Hair & Beauty) and Second Day Finishing Cream ($40.50 from Oz Hair & Beauty). Then ask for a simple twisted bun in the back and apply Unite Session Max Extra Strong Hairspray ($41.85 from Oz Hair & Beauty) and 7 Seconds Glossing Spray ($31.73 from Oz Hair & Beauty) for strong-hold and long-lasting shine and humidity control.

The Romantic Bride: A Textured Bun
Familiar faces like Phoebe Tonkin, Millie Bobby Brown and Gabby Windey all opted for textured buns on their wedding days.
If you'd like to copy the easy going romantic style Raye Adams recommends adding a bit of texture on the sides of the hair, so you can see a little of the twisting and pinning details.
"The back should look polished, [but] pull some pieces out of the bun to add a little movement to the style," she tells us.
"These products ensure shine, volume and longevity: Unite Smooth & Shine Styling Cream ($40.50 from Oz Hair & Beauty) to add softness and shine, Unite Texturiza Spray ($47.25 from Oz Hair & Beauty) to add volume and definition, and Expanda Dust Volumizing Powder ($40.50 from Oz Hair & Beauty) to create a fuller look and add workable grit and hold."

The Boho Bride: An Elevated Half-Up Half-Down Hairstyle
"I love this style with something super fun happening in the back," says Raye Adams. "Whether it’s a cute little ponytail or a beautiful bun, this look has been a big trend recently and my personal favourite."
"Tell your stylist you want a half-up, half-down with a little bit of volume up top," she explains. "I like to see the top of the ponytail when I’m looking in the mirror and have a lot of volume in the ponytail itself."
To create a finish similar to Joey King's bridal hair look, she uses Unite 7Seconds Blowout Creme ($20 from Oz Hair & Beauty) to protect and smooth the hair from hot tools, U Argan Oil ($55.89 from Oz Hair & Beauty) to add softness and shine, Smooth & Shine Styling Cream ($40.50 from Oz Hair & Beauty) to seal dried ends and tame frizz, and Maxcontrol Strong Hairspray ($35.91 from Oz Hair & Beauty) for strong-hold.

The Chic Bride: A Sleek, Relaxed, Mostly-Down Style
Think: Brides like Demi Lovato and Barbara Palvin.
"It could have a little tuck or pinning to one side. It’s the perfect elevated look without really doing much! When I think of this look the icon that comes to mind is Bella Hadid at this year’s Cannes Film Festival,” Raye Adams explains.
"When going for a sleek and simple down style, ask your stylists for a side part and a very loose curl with a little bit of volume up top just, so it’s not flat to your head," she instructs. "Then, ask them to pin the side with less hair, to lift and snatch the face. But make sure that pinned piece is tight to your head!"
The bridal expert recommends Smooth & Shine Styling Cream ($40.50 from Oz Hair & Beauty) to polish, protect and control frizz, Unite Boosta Volumizing Spray ($40.50 from Oz Hair & Beauty) for volume, hold, and shine, and 7 Seconds Glossing Spray ($31.73 from Oz Hair & Beauty) as a finishing touch to give radiance to the hair.
